Here is a hand carved Hawaiian turtle also known as Honu (highly respected in Hawaii),
made out of a solid piece of Acacia wood (Monkey Pod)
The turtle measures 20 inches long by 14 wide. The wood was stained and hand rubbed to give a beautiful finish.
