I was once told that zoo flamingos maintain their pink color because of special vitamins that are added to their diet. Perhaps these nutrients and minerals are readily available to flamingos in the wild? This photograph was composed on a visit to the St. Louis Zoo during the summer of 2005. As you can see, these flamingos have taken their vitamins and are beautifully pink against the background of the green tree leaves.
Created in the summer of 2005, this image of pink zoo flamingos (located at the St. Louis Zoo) would look great on your desktop or on top of your desk, as your wallpaper or printed out on paper, framed, and put on your wall. Enjoy the view!
