Offered is a sterling open salt spoon in Kirk's antique pattern, "Wadefield" (Introduced 1850, Discontinued 1991). The salt spoon measures approximately 2 3/8" long. The pattern is simple and classic with a slighty "tipt" handle top, on the back, and also a slight arc downward. There is no monogram. It is marked on the back with, "S.Kirk & Son, Inc." This maker mark indicates a possible date between 1925-1932. The condition is very good with light normal surface wear and tarnish. This is a very fine salt spoon in a classic pattern by the well known and much respected S. Kirk & Son.
